Windows Vista Tips: "My Computer" Freezes

So, lets start with the first Tip that I found veeeery helpful.

I am pretty sure that, everybody who has installed Windows Vista, is experiencing great problems with My Computer and File Dialogs ... in other words with explorer.exe.

There might be many different reasons why it takes soooo much time to open "My Computer" window or Open/Save dialog window in (almost) every application on your Windows Vista, but one thing that makes problems and freezing of "My Computer" window is for sure the Folders Treeview on the left side of the window.
That thing takes just way to much time and blocks the whole window while trying to generate the Treeview.

Best solution is to close the Folder Treeview and you will see the difference in performance immediately, by opening you "My Computer" window next time.
