Have a look at your permissions in tfs. I've had the same issue 'resolved' for me after having the admin look at those. Maybe unrelated, but maybe an odd side effect

While get the latest version from the TFS, make sure you have to select "get specific version" and than need to select overwrite writable files.. and force get.. check box. This way it will not create Folder for Every *.cs file .

This happened to my team after storing a web application project that we converted from 1.1 to 2.0. I resolved it permanently by editing the .csproj file and removing all of the EmbeddedResource elements which point to the .resx files. Once we confirmed that we could sucessfully get the edited project from TFS, we deleted the .resx files from TFS. Nearly 2 weeks since, and it seems all is well.

Got the same issue. What I did was delete all the files under ASP.NET webservice folder leaving the root web services directories so that I can create the virtual directories. Once files are deleted did a get force get from TFS. That solved the issue.

I have found the same issue in 2.0. Simply deleting the folders usually works for me...
