Writing posts from Word 2007

As I was testing this new cool feature of Word 2007, I found some confusing options and I was thinking of sharing it with you guys :)

When you want to start a new Blog Post, just click on the big Office button at the top and then New -> Blog Post.
After that, you will be asked to register new Blog Account where you have to select Community Server as provider and click on next.

On next window there is default address of Community Server's Metablog API where you only have to add the site/domain name of you Community Server. This option is little confusing because on the last update of Community Server, the default path of Metablog API is not www.domain-name.com/Metablog.ashx, then www.domain-name.com/blogs/Metablog.ashx. That is the reason why Word 2007 will not be able to register your account.

And now, on finishing this Post, I can only recommend this new feature of Word 2007!!

P.S. It is even possible to open existing Blog from Server edit it … like this short text ;)
I ask myself … how it works with images ….

I would be very interested to hear if you get it working with the images!

I just made my first post with Word 2007 and I think it will mean the end of my short relationship with LiveWriter :)

I have not worked out how we can post picutres though :(
