I was working a long time with SQL Management Studio 2014 and azure tables. And everytime I was bugged by some missing features like show column, designer, show top 1000, edit 200 and many more. All these great features are missing in SQL Management Studio 2014 when working with azure sql databases.
Today I searched for this issue and found the issue: missing Service Pack 1 for Management Studio
