When you try to generate the metadata of the BizTalk Server WCF-SQL adapter, following error can occur:
BizTalk. "The name that you have entered is not valid." The character '.' may not be used.
This error is caused by invalid Inbound Identifier (see picture below). The InboundId must not contain dots (“.”) in the name. This mostly happen if you expect to use this propery
as XML namespace. To workaround this issue in this specific case, you would have to set id to ABC_DEF or similar.
