Here is the short list of what people sometimes think about DevOps, which is NOT true.
•DevOps is for cloud only companies
This is not true, because none-cloud companies can run software in cloud too.
•DevOps is for devs
No, because Operators (Ops) are required to operate software.
•Ops resources need to learn how to code
No, they only need to learn that automation takes more important role than before.
•DevOps is only Only for the cloud deployments
This is sometimes true, because OnPrem environments do not support that high-level of automation degree.
•It works for small deployments but ours is complex
The more complex project the more benefit from automation.
